Application of plate heat exchanger

The effect of Jiangsu YOJO’s plate heat exchangers is remarkable in terms of heating. The components of the plate heat exchanger:
1. Heat transfer plate
The heat transfer plate is the main heat exchange element of the heat exchanger. Generally, the corrugation is made into a herringbone shape. According to the different fluid medium, the material of the heat transfer plate is different, and most of them are made of stainless steel and titanium.
2. Gasket
The sealing gasket of the plate heat exchanger is mainly used for sealing between the heat exchange plates.
3. Both ends pressure plate
The pressure plates at both ends mainly clamp and press all the heat transfer plates to ensure that the fluid medium does not leak.
4. Clamping bolt
The clamping bolts are mainly used to tighten the pressure plates at both ends. Clamping bolts are generally double-threaded. When the bolts are pre-tightened, the torque of the fixed plate is even.
The role of plate heat exchanger:
1. Central heating
Due to its compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, and high heat transfer efficiency, plate heat exchangers have become the preferred heat exchange products for heat exchange stations in urban central heating projects. It is suitable for water-water heat exchange system, steam-water heat exchange system and domestic hot water supply system. It plays an important role in the rational distribution of heat energy and the improvement of thermal management.
2. Air conditioning system
Due to the low price of plate heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers are widely used for heat exchange of chilled water in air conditioning systems. Installing a plate heat exchanger between the cooling tower and the condenser near the condenser can play the role of the condenser, prevent equipment corrosion or blockage, and save the running time of the chiller during the transition season.
3. Pressure blocker for high-rise buildings
In high-rise buildings, HVAC systems that use water, glycol, etc. as heat exchange media often have extremely high static pressure. Using a plate heat exchanger as a pressure blocker can decompose the higher static pressure into several parts of smaller pressure. Thereby reducing the pressure requirements of the system on pumps, valves, cold and hot water units and other equipment, saving equipment investment costs and operating costs.
