Corrosion causes of plate heat exchanger:
1. There will be many gaps in the plate. For example, after the installation is completed or the bottom of the sealing groove and the groove point, the enrichment of cl will occur. With long-term enrichment, the corrosion resistance of the plate will be greater than that of the plate heat exchanger, and corrosion of the plate heat exchanger will occur.
2. The stainless steel plate manufactured by mechanical stamping will leave a lot of residual force on the surface. Some stainless steel plates do not contain molybdenum, and the residual force attached to the surface is difficult or impossible to remove.
3. The calcium chloride contained in the asbestos and neoprene binder will gradually increase in temperature after being heated by water and steam. It will precipitate hydrogen ions and chloride ions from the binder to produce hydrogen chloride, which is also one of the reasons for the corrosion of the plate heat exchanger.
4. Temperature corrosion is a chemical reaction. As the temperature rises, it will gradually rise to 10 degrees Celsius, speeding up the corrosion rate between 1-3 times.
5. Medium concentration: If in hydrochloric acid, the greater the concentration, the more corrosive. Stainless steel and carbon steel will corrode severely in 50% sulfuric acid. When the concentration increases to 60%, the corrosion drops sharply.
After the plate heat exchanger is clamped, the gasket will have a great pre-tightening effect due to deformation and the sealing groove. During operation, the gasket and the sealing groove will slide. It will accumulate in the crevice area, causing the concentration in the crevice to be as high as several times or more than tens of times, and accelerate the corrosion rate of the plate heat exchanger.
