Installation and operation of plate heat exchanger

Equipment installation
1. The heat exchanger should be fixed vertically on the concrete floor with anchor bolts, and a certain distance should be left around to facilitate the installation of pipes and accessories and the maintenance of equipment.
2. Before using the heat exchanger, check whether the clamping bolts are loose and whether the clamping size meets the requirements of the manual. If not, the nuts should be tightened evenly according to the L size, and the error should not exceed 1.0mm.
3. In order to prevent fouling in the heat exchanger, a filter (decontamination device) should be installed on the inlet pipe of the heat exchanger.
4. When this equipment is used for steam-water heat exchange and heating, a pressure reducing valve and a safety valve should be installed on the steam inlet pipe according to the specific situation, and the pressure and temperature should be controlled within the allowable working range. No trap shall be installed on the condensate discharge pipe, otherwise it will affect the normal steam-water heat exchange. When used for steam-water heat exchange and heating, the condensate discharge pipe should be connected to the open water storage tank, and the stop valve on the steam inlet pipe should be adjusted so that the condensate discharge pipe only drains water but not steam.
5. Before using the heat exchanger, carry out a hydraulic test on the hot side and the cold side respectively. The test pressure is 1.25 times the working pressure, and keep the pressure for 30 minutes. It can be put into use after confirming that there is no leakage in each sealing part.
6. Install an air release valve at the highest point of the pipeline connected to the heat exchanger, and a water discharge valve at the lowest point.

operation
1. During operation, slowly inject the low-pressure side medium first, and then inject the high-pressure side medium. When shutting down, first cut off the high-pressure side medium slowly, and then cut off the low-pressure side medium. Do not shock violently when starting to prevent damage to the gasket.
2. When it is used for steam-water heat exchange and heating, the heating circulation water should be injected first, and then the steam should be injected. When shutting down, the steam source should be cut off first, and then the circulating water should be cut off.
3. The heat exchanger should operate within the allowable range of design temperature and design pressure. It is strictly forbidden to operate at over-temperature and over-pressure.
Maintenance
1. If the pressure drop (resistance) of the heat exchanger increases during use, it is often due to fouling and fouling inside the heat exchanger. At this time, the clamping bolts should be loosened, the movable compression plate should be removed, and then cleaned.
When loosening the clamping bolts, wait until the shutdown temperature drops to room temperature, so as to prevent the rubber pad from falling off.
When cleaning the plates, use a brown brush instead of a wire brush to avoid scratching the plates and rubber pads.
2. The damaged plate needs to be replaced. If there is no spare plate, two adjacent plates can be removed, and then clamped for use. The central clamping dimension L should be reduced accordingly. (The folded plate can only have a four-hole plate)
3. The aging sealing rubber pad should be updated in time. When replacing, the sealing groove of the plate should be cleaned, a layer of adhesive should be applied, and the sealing rubber pad should be embedded in the sealing groove.
4. When reassembling the plate heat exchanger, arrange and clamp the plates according to the flow chart attached with the machine. When disassembling or assembling, loosen or tighten the central tightening bolts symmetrically and evenly, so that the two compression levers remain parallel. After clamping, the parallelism error of the two pressing plates is not more than 1.0mm.
Matters needing attention
1. The equipment is operated under the designed working conditions, and it is strictly forbidden to operate at over-temperature and over-pressure.
2. When screwing the bolts, the size L of the clip should not be smaller than the limit size.
3. When using surface water as cooling water, the content of suspended solids in the water should be greater than 5mg/L.
4. When the machine is not in use, clean the media and scrub the heat exchange plates.
5. Use the hook when lifting the equipment, and it is strictly forbidden to lift other parts.
6. Lubricating oil should be added when the plate hook slides on the upper guide beam.
