1. Installation
Before installing the brazed plate heat exchanger, heat insulation materials should be used for heat insulation treatment to eliminate condensation. When installing the heat exchanger, the connecting pipes cannot be used to support and fix the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger must be placed on the bench and tightened and fixed with metal clamps or tie rods.
2. Brazing connection
When brazing plate heat exchangers, care must be taken to keep the welding surface of the heat exchanger clean, free of dirt and grease. Before heating, dry nitrogen must be used to replace the air in the pipe and heat exchange, and a damp cloth with water should be wrapped around the root of the short tube of the heat exchanger to protect the heat exchanger. When brazing, you must use a special electrode with a silver content of more than 45%. The flame must be a weak flame so that the solder can be evenly fused into the stainless steel. At the same time, the heat exchanger connector only needs to be heated to the minimum required for brazing. The temperature should be cooled quickly after brazing. Note that the entire brazing and cooling process must be carried out under the protection of nitrogen. The parts cannot be immersed in water to cool during cooling. A damp cloth can be used to wipe the parts to accelerate cooling.
3. Prevent icing
When the temperature of any heat exchanger is below zero degrees Celsius, the water in the heat exchanger may freeze. In order to prevent the heat exchanger from freezing due to low temperature, the air conditioning unit must be equipped with a drain valve. When using, pay attention to keep the water circulating and heating continuously, and drain the water when not in use. Or add glycol to the water to prevent the water from freezing. In order to prevent internal icing, please pay attention to whether the inlet water temperature in the evaporator is too low, the water flow is too small, or the water is cut off (the pipeline is blocked) and the amount of refrigerant flushing is insufficient, so as to prevent evaporation. Ice on the water side of the device.
4. Avoid water hammer phenomenon
The water hammer phenomenon is a phenomenon that occurs when the incompressible fluid flows in the pipeline suddenly changes the flow rate. Generally, the water hammer phenomenon occurs when the solenoid valve is suddenly closed. The water hammer phenomenon may rupture pipes and damage valves and heat exchangers. Therefore, delaying the time of opening or closing the valve can avoid this phenomenon and protect all the equipment in the liquid pipeline (heat exchanger).
The brazed plate heat exchanger has high heat transfer efficiency and is very compact in structure. It can be easily installed in a location with limited space, thereby reducing the components of the entire system, saving operating costs, and bringing greater benefits to customers.
