The two most common causes of reduced heat exchanger efficiency are old gaskets, which can cause external leakage and fouling, such as fouling, which reduces heat transfer and eventually clogs the channels. These problems can be solved by refurbishing the heat exchanger.

Repair procedure
1. Check before cleaning
We will check your heat exchanger plates for severe corrosion, corrosion and deformation. Our technicians will determine whether these boards should be repaired or replaced.
2. Remove the gasket
We use an efficient and gentle method to remove the gasket using liquid nitrogen, which can completely remove the gasket while keeping the groove intact, thus preventing board damage. Certain field methods for removing gaskets (including the use of propane torches or rotating wire brushes) can severely damage the printing plate.
3. Water jet cleaning
First wash the heat exchanger plates with water to remove residue.
4. Chemical cleaning
Immerse the board in a specially formulated chemical bath and carefully adjust its concentration and temperature to gently remove deposits.
5. Crack and deformation detection
Each board is sprayed with dye and then carefully inspected under ultraviolet light to find the smallest defects.
6. re-fat
We use a strong curing glue GC6 (an excellent heat curing adhesive) to carefully re-grease the board, which is far better than the rubber-based contact glue used by other service providers.
7. Oven cured gasket
Then place the board in a solidified skid and bake it in the oven under compression for 3-5 hours.
8. Stress test
After reassembling the heat exchanger, a complete hydrostatic pressure test will be performed to ensure that there are no leaks.
