The plate heat exchanger is composed of corrugated metal plates, on which there are two holes for supply and demand heat exchange medium to pass; two holes for heat transfer medium to pass, a total of 4 holes. Welded plate heat exchanger is an evolution of plate heat exchanger, including brazed plate heat exchanger, semi-welded plate heat exchanger, and fully welded plate heat exchanger. Welding technology is used to connect corrugated metal plates, and part or all of the sealing gaskets are replaced to reduce or eliminate the restrictions on temperature, pressure and other parameters of the dangerous medium generated by the sealing gaskets.

The semi-welded plate heat exchanger is a machine composed of two plates which are joined along the sealing groove by overlapping welding to form a plate group, which is sandwiched between the fixed compression plate and the movable compression plate in the form of alternate stacking. In each plate group, the non-hazardous medium flows on the side of the gasket, and the dangerous medium flows in the middle of the welding plate. Through the alternate gasket and welding process combination, it is ensured that the medium will not mix. It has a unique sealing system, which retains the advantages of disassembly and replacement of the plate heat exchanger and still has a relatively long service life.

 

The brazed plate heat exchanger and the fully welded plate heat exchanger are somewhat similar in structure, and both use welding to connect the plates and completely eliminate the sealing gasket. The difference is that the plates of the fully welded plate heat exchanger are welded by argon arc welding, while the plates of the brazed plate heat exchanger are welded by high-temperature copper foil. Since the sealing gasket is completely eliminated, there are no longer too many requirements for the corrosion, temperature, and pressure of the heat exchange medium, and the scope of application is increased.
